40 schools announced the minimum scores based on the ability assessment test scores: Which school has the highest score?

In 2025, the country will have about 10 large-scale capacity and thinking assessment exams organized by universities. Of these, the exams of Hanoi National University (HSA), Ho Chi Minh City National University (APT) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (TSA) are the largest in scale, with 50-100 schools using the results for admission.

Foreign Trade University uses the competency assessment scores of Hanoi National University (HSA) and Ho Chi Minh City University (APT) and the thinking assessment score of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (TSA) for admission. The threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) is 100/150; 850/1200 and 60/100 respectively - the highest level for this method.

Many schools only accept a score of 50-60 for admission.

According to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, more than 40 universities are currently using the results of the thinking assessment test in university admissions for the 2025 admissions season.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology informed that schools can use thinking assessment test scores for admission without having to report back to the exam organizing unit.

Last year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology admitted candidates with a thinking assessment score of 50/100 points, while other universities accepted applications with a score of 50 - 60/100 points.
