Among more than 180 new doctors and pharmacists, there are 46 new dentists (class of 2019-2025) who are the first to graduate from the University of Health Sciences.
Speaking at the ceremony, Professor, Dr. Phan Bach Thang, Rector of the University of Health Sciences, congratulated the new doctors and pharmacists for their persistent efforts in studying, researching and growing up at the University of Health Sciences and in the dynamic, innovative and integrated environment of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Professor, Dr. Phan Bach Thang advised that ahead of the new doctors and pharmacists is the journey of a physician in a world where science and technology are constantly developing.
Medicine therefore develops every day, diseases become more and more complex and society places increasingly high demands on the quality of health care.

“This requires students not to be satisfied with what they have learned but to continuously learn, update knowledge, develop themselves, practice skills and professional ethics,” Professor, Dr. Phan Bach Thang emphasized.
Up to now, the University of Health Sciences has graduated 10 medical courses, 5 pharmacy courses and 1 dentistry course, providing the national health system with more than 1,360 doctors and pharmacists.
At the graduation ceremony, the University of Health Sciences honored and rewarded 25 new doctors and pharmacists with excellent academic and training results.
In particular, the school honored three valedictorians representing three majors: medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. They have had a journey of persistent study and training, discipline, and a steadfast passion for the field of health sciences.
Among the 3 graduating valedictorians, the most notable is the new doctor Hoang Nguyen Nhat Thi, the first "double" valedictorian in the field of dentistry.
