The contest was organized by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to widely propagate to cadres, union members, youth and people about the glorious tradition of 80 years of building, fighting and growing of the People's Public Security force; affirming the role and significance of the National Day for National Security Protection.
Thereby, contributing to strengthening the trust, arousing the pride and sense of responsibility of the People and the young generation in the cause of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and building a solid people's security posture.
To implement the plan to organize the Contest, the Provincial Police Youth Union advised the Provincial Police Director and the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to direct units, localities, District Youth Union Standing Committees, and City Youth Union Standing Committees to widely deploy the Contest to all cadres, soldiers, youth union members and people of all walks of life; determining this to be a broad and practical political activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
After nearly 3 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 212 entries from the Police of various units, localities and District and City Youth Unions. After the preliminary round, the 30 best entries were selected for the final round.

According to the Jury, many entries were carefully invested in both content and form, vividly reflecting the 80-year heroic tradition of the People's Public Security force, expressing gratitude, pride and deep appreciation for the silent contributions and sacrifices of the Public Security force in the cause of protecting security and order, for the peaceful life of the People.
Many entries are creative in their presentation, skillfully combining historical documents and vivid illustrations, creating works rich in aesthetic value and strong inspiration.
In the Final Round, the Jury worked seriously, impartially, and objectively based on the criteria of accuracy, rich content, creativity, aesthetics, andeducational value of each work. As a result, the Jury selected 23 excellent entries to award provincial prizes; at the same time, selected 5 most typical entries to send to the Ministry of Public Security to compete in the Ministerial Final Round.
