52 works entered the final round of the 2024 Science and Technology Journalism Award

On April 10, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Science and Technology Journalism Award held a meeting to collect opinions on the list of works proposed for the Final Round. The meeting took place under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Award.

Reporting at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang - Director of the Center for Science and Technology Communication, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the 2024 Science and Technology Journalism Award said: This year's award attracted nearly 200 works/groups of works from press agencies across the country. Accordingly, the Northern and Southern Preliminary Council selected 55 works in 5 types of journalism including: Print, electronic, radio, television and photojournalism.

At the meeting, the Organizing Committee carefully reviewed and discussed in detail each work/group of works and agreed to select 52 works/groups of works to officially enter the Final round of the 2024 Science and Technology Journalism Award.

The Award Ceremony is expected to be held on the occasion of Vietnam Science and Technology Day, May 18, 2025, in Hanoi. This is an annual activity organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology to honor outstanding journalistic works, recognizing the contributions of journalists in spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity, and inspiring science to the community and society./.
