63 candidates dropped out of the exam.

According to a quick report from the Department of Education and Training (DET), by the end of the second exam session (Math), entrance exam for grade 10, school year 2025-2026, the whole province had 63 candidates who dropped out of the exam and 15 invigilators were absent from the exam.

The above data includes the first exam, Literature.

On the afternoon of June 4, candidates took the English exam, the final exam for candidates applying to non-specialized high schools.

According to the regulations on admission to grade 10 issued by the Ministry of Education and Training , from the 2025-2026 school year, the number of subjects to be tested will be three, including Math, Literature and one subject randomly drawn by the Department of Education and Training from the remaining subjects in the general education program at the secondary school level. The subjects drawn by lot must be announced before March 31 every year.

On June 5, candidates taking the entrance exam to Hoang Le Kha High School for the Gifted will take the specialized subject exam according to their registered wishes.

According to regulations, the application for admission to Hoang Le Kha High School for the Gifted cannot be used to apply for admission to high schools that combine entrance exams with admission and schools that consider admission.
