63 candidates dropped out of the exam.

According to a preliminary report from the Department of Education and Training, as of the end of the second exam session (Mathematics) of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, the entire province had 63 candidates who dropped out of the exam and 15 invigilators who were absent.

The figures above include the first exam session, the Literature subject.

On the afternoon of June 4th, candidates took the English exam, the final subject for those applying to non-specialized high schools.

According to the regulations for admission to grade 10 issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, from the 2025-2026 school year, the number of subjects for the entrance exam will be three: Mathematics, Literature, and one subject randomly selected by the Department of Education and Training from among the remaining subjects in the lower secondary education curriculum. The randomly selected subject must be announced before March 31st of each year.

On June 5th, candidates applying to Hoang Le Kha Specialized High School took their specialized subject exams according to their registered preferences.

According to regulations, the application for admission to Hoang Le Kha Specialized High School cannot be used for applying for first, second, or third choice admissions to high schools that combine entrance exams with academic record review, or schools that only use academic record review for admissions.
