68 owners of plant protection drug businesses received professional training

(GLO)- The Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection of Gia Lai province has just opened a "Professional training on plant protection drugs" class for 68 students who are owners of plant protection drug businesses.

During the 3-month period (from May to July 2025), the trainees were taught by leaders and officers of the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection on topics such as conditions for trading in plant protection drugs; procedures for granting certificates of eligibility to trade in plant protection drugs; rights and obligations of organizations and individuals trading in plant protection drugs; chemical safety of plant protection drugs; transportation of plant protection drugs; content of plant protection drug advertisements; list of plant protection drugs; regulations on administrative sanctions in trading, transporting and using plant protection drugs and regulations on protecting people's health and the environment...

Along with that, the training course also provides knowledge to students about some contents such as: The nature of fire and the cause of fire; general knowledge about fire prevention and fighting; handling steps and escape skills when a fire or explosion occurs. Providing current legal regulations related to the production and trading of plant protection drugs.


In addition, students are also provided with basic knowledge about pesticides; harmful organisms, integrated pest control, etc. to help advise on the correct, effective, safe use of pesticides for humans, cost savings and environmental protection.

Students who complete the course and pass all mid-term and final exams will be granted a “Certificate of Professional Training in Pesticides” by the Provincial Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection. This is one of the conditions for being granted a Certificate of Eligibility for Trading in Pesticides.
