(Dan Tri) - The results of the first round of the V-SAT 2025 exam just announced by the Banking Academy show many special points, in which about 70% of candidates this year registered to take the literature exam.
According to a representative of the Banking Academy this morning (March 27), the reason about 70% of candidates registered for the literature subject is because the structure of this year's exam has changed positively, including 80% multiple-choice reading and comprehension sections and only 20% essay questions.
This exam structure is considered suitable for candidates' abilities and test-taking psychology, creating opportunities for candidates to "recover" points.
Many candidates achieved very good results, such as Do Thuy Trang (Yen Vien High School, Gia Lam) with 134.5/150 points, or Nguyen Lan Vien ( Bac Ninh Specialized High School) with a total score of 350, of which the literature subject reached 128.5 points.

Block D00 (math - literature - English) also has a highlight when there are many candidates participating and is also the block that records the highest percentage of candidates achieving high scores in this V-SAT exam.
In most of the exam blocks this year, many candidates scored over 300 points. Typically, in block A00 (math - physics - chemistry), candidate Cao Phuong Ngoc, Le Hong Phong High School ( Nghe An ) excellently won 359 points.
Candidates in Hanoi also made their mark with impressive results. Specifically, candidate Nguyen Ngoc Minh (Quang Trung High School, Dong Da) achieved 375.5 points in block A01 (math - physics - English), and especially Mac Quang Hung (Nguyen Tat Thanh High School) with a result of 387 points in block D0, a number very close to the maximum score.
According to a representative of the Banking Academy - the exam organizer in Hanoi, block D0 really attracted a large number of candidates to participate and recorded about 30% of candidates achieving over 300 points, the highest rate among the exam blocks.
This clearly reflects the trend of candidates choosing block D0 in this year's exam. This exam block is highly appreciated for its balance between subjects.
In terms of last year's benchmark score, the Banking Academy accepted admission scores of 315 points or higher. With quite high scores from the first round of this year's exam, the benchmark score is expected to increase slightly.

The V-SAT exam is implemented by the Banking Academy in collaboration with the National Testing Center and Education Quality Assessment.
Last year, the admission score using the V-SAT exam results to enter the Banking Academy was 315 points.
The 2025 V-SAT exam will, for the first time, closely follow the 2018 general education program. The subjects are diverse, including math, literature, English, physics, chemistry, biology, history, and geography.
In particular, from 2025, literature will be added to the list of independent subjects. The main form of the exam is objective multiple choice on computer or on paper, making it more convenient for candidates to do the test and receive the results.
According to the plan, the Banking Academy will organize a total of 6 exam sessions from March to May at the school and some joint exam clusters in major cities and provinces. The first session was just organized by the Banking Academy on March 23.
Candidates register for the exam online via the V-SAT portal of the Banking Academy and can choose to register for 3 or more subjects depending on the admission needs.
In Hanoi, Banking Academy is the only training institution that organizes the V-SAT competency assessment exam.
The results of this exam are currently used by 19 universities nationwide for admission, opening up more opportunities to choose majors and increasing the chances of admission for candidates.
