89 Quang Tri students participate in the national excellent student exam for the 2024 school year

This afternoon, December 20, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to launch the army to recruit excellent students of Quang Tri province to participate in the national excellent student exam for the 2024-2025 school year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Huong emphasized that the national excellent student exam is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training every year. To reach this year's exam, teachers and candidates have overcome a long and arduous journey of "sharpening iron" in anticipation of the day of "turning into gold".

The exam is a very special intellectual playground, an opportunity for students to demonstrate their ability to apply knowledge, affirm their creative talents, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This year's exam was held earlier than every year and this is the first year the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program was carried out nationwide.

The new program will have different requirements as it focuses on developing candidates' ability to apply knowledge to different situations compared to the types of questions and exercises they have learned, so it will be a big challenge for candidates.

Wishing all candidates to be calm, confident, creative, maintain their will and determination when taking the test to achieve the best results in this important exam.

This exam has 89 students from 9 teams of subjects: Math, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, English, Literature of high schools: Le Quy Don Specialized, Quang Tri town, Vinh Linh, Bui Duc Tai, Hai Lang, Dakrong, Trieu Phong, Gio Linh, Tran Thi Tam, Ben Hai Secondary and High School. Among the 89 candidates taking the exam this time, there are 3 10th graders, 30 11th graders, 56 12th graders.

On this occasion, leaders of the Department of Education and Training presented flowers and gifts to the candidates.
