Agribank commends the contributions of female union members - workers "Good at banking, good at housework"

The 6th Conference to commend typical advanced models and commend female union members - workers "Good at banking, good at housework" aims to commend the outstanding contributions of more than 23,000 female union members, Agribank workers and outstanding collectives and individuals. This is an important milestone, affirming the outstanding achievements in the emulation and reward work of Agribank in the period of 2020-2025; at the same time, creating a premise to strive to implement the 5-year plan 2026-2030 and the development strategy to 2030, vision 2045.

In the 5 years of 2020-2025, Agribank has 06 female union members - employees awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister ; 1,438 female union members awarded Certificates of Merit by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam ; 257 female union members achieved the title of Emulation Fighter in the Banking sector; 8,631 female union members achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level; 40 female union members were awarded Certificates of Merit by the General Confederation of Labor; 585 female union members were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam Banking Trade Union and thousands of female union members - employees were awarded Certificates of Merit and other titles and forms of emulation and rewards by the Agribank Trade Union.

Over the past 5 years, Agribank has actively implemented emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister, the Central Emulation and Reward Council, and the Governor of the State Bank, such as: Emulation movement "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to implement office culture" for the period 2019 - 2025; emulation movement "improving morality, practicing profession"; "The whole country unites, joins hands, and wholeheartedly competes to prevent, fight and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic"; "For the poor - No one is left behind" for the period 2021 - 2025; "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" for the period 2021 - 2025; "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste" ...;

Agribank General Director Pham Toan Vuong delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

In the new rural construction movement, Agribank is the only unit that covers credit capital to 100% of communes and wards nationwide with more than 65% of total outstanding loans for the "Tam Nong" sector. Capital sources focus on agricultural, forestry and fishery production at 50%, rural trade services at 35% and infrastructure at 15%. Agribank has developed 69,000 lending groups and deployed mobile vehicles to serve transactions in remote areas. Implementing the movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", in the past 5 years, Agribank has spent more than 2,200 billion VND on social security, including 690 billion VND to build charity houses, 680 billion VND for education, and 390 billion VND for healthcare...

In particular, the movement "Good at banking, good at housework" in the period of 2020-2025 has motivated more than 23,000 female union members - workers (accounting for over 56% of the total staff of the whole system) to constantly strive to study, be creative and contribute. Agribank has continuously improved the equal working environment, recognizing the outstanding contributions of the female team, including 4 female staff holding senior positions and 955 female branch managers.

Mr. Dao Minh Tu - Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank, Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union, Head of the Committee for the Advancement of Women in the Banking Industry acknowledged, commended and warmly congratulated the collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the performance of Agribank as well as creating social trust, enhancing the prestige and position of the banking industry in general. The Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank expressed his hope that today's Conference to commend advanced models will be a driving force to convey and spread widely throughout the entire Agribank system.

Agribank's Trade Union report affirms that female Agribank staff play a key role in credit consulting activities, supporting agricultural and rural development, creating livelihoods for millions of workers; at the same time, they are pioneers in applying digital banking , optimizing business processes, and promoting digital transformation at the unit.

Promoting the achievements, with the spirit of "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation", female union members - Agribank employees always actively respond to emulation movements launched by the profession and the trade union, achieving excellent results in all areas of work.
