Agribank Tra Vinh branch awards 'Savings in hand - Celebrating National Day'

Vinh Long On the afternoon of October 31, Agribank Tra Vinh branch held an award ceremony for the savings mobilization program 'Savings in Hand - Celebrating National Day'.

Attending the event were representatives of local government leaders; leaders of State Bank Region 14; Agribank Representative Office in the Southwest region; ABIC Can Tho; Board of Directors and Heads and Deputy Heads of functional departments of Agribank Tra Vinh branch; Directors of type II branches.

Mr. Pham Van Thai - Director of Agribank Tra Vinh branch said that the savings mobilization program "Savings in hand - Celebrating National Day" will be implemented from May 14 to September 30, 2025.

The total prize value of the program is 665 million VND, with 123 prizes, including 1 Special prize of 1 term savings book worth 100 million VND; 5 First prizes, each prize is 1 term savings book worth 50 million VND; 9 Second prizes, each prize is 1 term savings book worth 20 million VND; 18 Third prizes, each prize is 1 term savings book worth 5 million VND and 90 Consolation prizes, each prize is 500 thousand VND.

After 4 months of implementation, the program has mobilized more than 706.3 billion VND, reaching 94.2% of the plan.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded the Special Prize to Ms. Vo Thi Nhien - a customer at Agribank Cau Ke branch). At the same time, the program awarded 5 First prizes to customers: Mr. Tran The Phuong (customer at Agribank Tra Cu branch); Ms. Truong Thi Hang (customer at Agribank Cau Ngang branch); Mr. Le Van Thi (customer at Agribank Cau Ngang branch); Ms. Trang Thi Hoang Anh and Mr. Do Chi (customer at Agribank Tra Cu branch) and awarded 9 Second prizes to 9 lucky customers. The remaining prizes of Agribank Tra Vinh branch will be awarded at the branch where the customer deposited money.

Within the framework of the ceremony, Agribank Tra Vinh branch presented 50 million VND in social security support to the People's Committee of Tra Vinh ward ( Vinh Long province), to contribute to caring for and improving the lives of disadvantaged households in the area.

On behalf of the local government, Mr. Tran Tuan Khanh - Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Ward People's Committee sent his sincere thanks to the leaders of Agribank Tra Vinh branch for the social security gift. At the same time, he emphasized that over the past time, the locality has always received the support of Agribank Tra Vinh branch in many social security programs, such as: Giving houses to the poor, giving Tet gifts, giving gifts to students with difficult circumstances in the area. This support has contributed to helping the locality reduce the rate of poor households and successfully carry out the proposed socio-economic development tasks.

Up to now, the total mobilized capital of Agribank Tra Vinh branch has reached 11,500 billion VND, an increase of 1,500 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year; total outstanding debt has reached 13,700 billion VND, an increase of 1,000 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year.

In particular, agricultural and rural loans maintained a steady growth rate, accounting for a large proportion of the total outstanding loans of the entire Branch. From there, it created a premise for the Branch to effectively implement social security programs, accompany localities in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, and support and accompany students.
