Sharing and helping
Since July 1st, the headquarters of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, located on Hoang Van Thu Street, Bac Giang Ward, has moved to the building complex of the former Bac Giang City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, Tan Tien Ward. Also from this time, nearly 40 officials and staff members of the former Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department have moved to this new location following the merger of the two provincial agencies.

Comrade Tran Tuan Nam, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, said: “The agency's leadership has held meetings and developed plans to arrange offices and assign staff according to their qualifications and professional capabilities. At the same time, priority is given to creating the best possible conditions in terms of facilities, workplaces, living quarters, and rest areas for staff and employees in the former Bac Ninh province so that everyone can work with peace of mind.”
Ms. Nguyen Quynh Giao, Deputy Head of the Science, Education, Culture and Arts Department (Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department), has a family of four: her husband works at a company, and her two children are of school age. The distance from her home (Que Vo ward) to her new workplace is about 30 km. Initially, she had some concerns and worries about the daily commute while the working environment and living conditions were new. However, all her concerns and worries were dispelled by the care, help, encouragement, and support from the agency's leaders and colleagues.
“When I moved here, my colleagues from the former Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department helped me move my belongings, set up cabinets and tables, organize documents, and connect me with people to arrange lunch. After each meal, my colleagues showed concern, asking if the dishes were suitable so they could make adjustments. They also helped introduce other staff members who needed housing. Everyone is united, friendly, and willing to exchange, support, and share professional experiences. We feel secure working here,” Ms. Giao confided.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has nearly 700 officials, civil servants, and employees. Of the 260 people who previously worked at the former Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 35 have moved to the new office in Bac Giang Ward. Due to the long commute, all staff members stay at the office for lunch. Recently, the Department renovated the dining hall on the 10th floor to accommodate the staff during lunchtime. According to Ms. Le Hong Hanh, a one-stop service officer at the department, after finishing her work at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, she walks to the inter-agency building A to have lunch with her colleagues. This way, she avoids long commutes and has time to rest before starting work in the afternoon. The support and assistance from colleagues at her new workplace are the motivation for her and many other staff members from the old unit to overcome difficulties.
Get started on the task right away.
According to statistics, approximately 1,200 officials and civil servants from the former Bac Ninh province have moved to the new administrative center of Bac Ninh province. After more than 10 days, this group has quickly adapted to the new environment at the province's new administrative agencies. To help them settle into their new lives and work, the agencies and officials of the former Bac Giang province have been proactively implementing many practical and timely support solutions. The province has added a bus route from the Kinh Bac Cultural Center in Vu Ninh ward to the bus station in Bac Giang ward; and assigned relevant departments and agencies to review the housing needs of the staff, thereby promptly advising the provincial leadership on long-term plans to stabilize their lives.
| In the process of streamlining the administrative apparatus, officials transferring from their homes to the province's new administrative center inevitably face initial difficulties in their work and daily lives. However, with a spirit of solidarity, the entire team of officials, civil servants, and workers in the province will proactively adapt and work together to successfully complete their tasks and build an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland. |
In addition, following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Education and Training is coordinating with other departments and agencies of the province to compile a list of children of officials, civil servants, and employees of the former Bac Ninh province who wish to transfer to preschool and primary schools in Bac Giang ward starting from the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the Department of Internal Affairs' assessment, the team of officials, civil servants, and employees in the province have demonstrated a sense of responsibility, proactively overcome difficulties, and shown solidarity and mutual support. This has contributed to enabling agencies and units to quickly resume their duties of serving the people, without any disruption to work.
For over a week now, precisely at 6:00 AM, Ms. Ngo Thi Hai Thanh, an officer at the Office of the Department of Internal Affairs, along with a few colleagues, has been regularly boarding a shared car to travel to the provincial inter-agency building in Bac Giang ward for work. The journey from Kinh Bac ward takes about 45 minutes, more tiring than before, but not a major concern. At her new workplace, Ms. Thanh continues to be trusted by her superiors and assigned to directly receive administrative procedures related to employment and labor at the Provincial Public Administrative Service Center, along with three colleagues from the Department.

Ms. Thanh recounted that her home is far from the shared shuttle bus pick-up point, so every day she rides her motorbike to the parking lot and travels with others to Bac Giang ward. On the way back, sometimes she gets a ride from colleagues, and other times she walks to the bus stop to catch a bus home. Despite this, she arrives early every day to study, organize files and documents, and immediately begin her work. Currently, she is focusing on processing previously received files from businesses in the former Bac Ninh province. She is also coordinating with colleagues to advise the agency's leadership on a unified process for receiving and processing administrative procedures. "In the one-stop service department, there are three officials from the former Bac Giang Department of Internal Affairs; everyone is very enthusiastic in guiding and cooperating so that I can complete my tasks well," Ms. Thanh said.
Sharing that same mindset, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue (Deputy Head of the Civil Servant and Public Employee Department - Department of Internal Affairs) gradually adapted to her assigned work at her new unit. Previously, she was the Chief of the Office of the Department of Internal Affairs of Bac Ninh province (formerly). After reorganization and transfer to a specialized department, the new working environment presented many challenges. According to Ms. Hue, the agency's leadership team is very supportive and creates favorable conditions; her colleagues are friendly and open. The office is arranged with a mix of former Bac Ninh and Bac Giang staff to facilitate communication and foster camaraderie. Currently, she and her colleagues are focusing on the task of recruiting teachers for 2025. During the application process, her colleagues from Bac Giang (formerly) have always been dedicated to supporting her, pointing out areas for improvement, contributing to the enhancement of work quality and efficiency.

However, with a spirit of solidarity, the entire team of officials, civil servants, and workers in the province will proactively adapt and strive together to successfully complete their tasks and build an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland. Throughout this journey, this team hopes that the province will continue to pay attention and provide timely support policies so that they can work with peace of mind and dedicate themselves to their work.
