Accelerating to turn Vietnam into an e-commerce export center
Representatives of Amazon Global Selling Southeast Asia said they have been building a platform to support Vietnam to rise in the global e-commerce sector, in the 2026 strategy to accelerate Vietnam to become a high-quality e-commerce export center of Southeast Asia.
The above affirmation was shared by the Director of Amazon Global Selling Southeast Asia at the 2025 annual conference with the theme "Technology breakthrough - Global export breakthrough" organized by Amazon Global Selling on November 6 in Hanoi .
Accordingly, Amazon Global Selling Vietnam will accelerate Vietnam's transformation into a regional export hub and enhance global competitiveness through efforts to develop logistics, nurture industry talent, and promote regional knowledge exchange through cooperation with the government and industry associations. The company aims to turn Vietnam into a Southeast Asian e-commerce export hub by 2026.
Along with that, support Vietnamese manufacturers and brands to improve their position in the global value chain through product innovation and brand building, cooperate with the government and relevant parties to implement high-quality export initiatives, and nurture a new generation of entrepreneurs, thereby helping “Made in Vietnam” to bear the mark of innovative, high-quality and highly competitive products globally.
Promote AI transformation for Vietnam's export industry by pioneering the integration of advanced AI technology into Vietnam's export activities. Through the introduction of AI tools, guidance on AI application methods and talent development in the AI field, Vietnam aims to become one of the leading countries in the region in applying technology in trade and smart manufacturing.

At the conference, Mr. Jim Yang, Asia-Pacific Market Development Director of Amazon Global Selling, assessed that Vietnam possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit and competitive production capacity, opening up huge potential for exports via digital platforms.
2025 marks 25 years since Amazon first welcomed independent sellers, who contribute more than 60% of the products sold on Amazon and have generated more than $2.5 trillion in sales globally over the past quarter-century.
Vietnamese goods sold on Amazon increased by nearly 35%
Vietnamese enterprises show steady growth in 2025.
According to data from Amazon, in the past year, as of July 31, 2025, the number of products sold by Vietnamese sales partners increased by nearly 35% over the same period last year.
This growth demonstrates the growing role of global B2C e-commerce as an emerging export channel for Vietnam.
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) has become an important tool for Vietnamese businesses to improve logistics efficiency. The number of goods shipped via FBA increased by nearly 40% in 2025, reflecting the focus of Vietnamese sellers on ensuring reliable delivery and customer service globally.
Amazon also shared that the top 5 best-selling product categories of Vietnamese sellers include: Home, Kitchen, Health & Personal Care, Fashion, and Beauty - which will remain stable in 2025, reflecting Vietnam's inherent manufacturing strengths.
