Amber Heard is about to return in 'Aquaman 2'

Director James Wan denied cutting Amber Heard's role in "Aquaman 2", a film that exploits brotherhood instead of love like the first part.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, James Wan said that the second Aquaman (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom) focuses on the brotherhood between Arthur (Jason Momoa) and Orm (Patrick Wilson).

DC and Warner Bros. came under intense public pressure when more than three million people signed a petition against Amber Heard's inclusion in Aquaman 2. The team decided to keep Heard's role after Jason Momoa and director James Wan convinced them to continue developing the character of Mera. However, some Hollywood sources said that the actress only had about 10 minutes of screen time in the second part.

The publisher released the trailer for the second season on September 14. The work takes place a few years after the first episode, when the king of Atlantis - Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) - and Mera (Amber Heard) have a son. Amber Heard appears in the last two seconds of the video .
