The airport's switchboard received a bomb threat call as passengers were boarding a Vistara flight from New Delhi to Pune in the western state of Maharashtra.

Immediately after receiving the threat call, airport authorities began evacuating passengers. At the same time, a sabotage team was dispatched to inspect the entire aircraft. However, this force did not find any suspicious objects.

The incident temporarily disrupted operations at the international airport.

The police are currently investigating the incident.
