An Giang is ready for the Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival to compete for the An Giang Television Cup.

On September 11, a working delegation of An Giang Newspaper, Radio and Television inspected the bull racing ground and worked with the leaders of Tri Ton commune on preparations for the 30th Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival for the An Giang Television Cup in 2025.

The event was organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with An Giang Newspaper, Radio and Television and Tri Ton Commune People's Committee on September 20.

The working group inspected the ceremony grounds, the grandstand, and the bull racing festival venue.

At the Ta Pa - Soai Chek Sports - Tourism Complex (Tri Ton commune), where this year's bull racing festival will take place, the working delegation inspected the ceremony grounds, the grandstand, the place where the pentatonic orchestra will be arranged, the art performances, the seats of the delegates and the place where the reporters' cameras will be arranged...

Currently, Tri Ton commune has assigned specific tasks to members and specialized departments, received application documents, had cow owners draw lots, arranged competition schedules; coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports to manage referee work and supervise competitions. Speeded up the progress of site renovation and racecourse improvement...

This year's bull racing festival has the participation of 64 pairs of bulls from 10 communes and wards in An Giang province, including: Tri Ton, Ba Chuc, O Lam, Co To, Vinh Gia, An Cu, Nui Cam, Giang Thanh, Chi Lang, Tinh Bien. The bull pairs will compete in a one-round knockout format, including "calling" and "releasing".

The Organizing Committee will award trophies, flags, gifts and cash prizes to the winning oxen pairs, including: 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, 1 fourth prize, 4 consolation prizes and the Outstanding ox driver prize.

The 30th Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival for the An Giang Television Cup in 2025 will be broadcast live on ATV1 and ATV2 channels of An Giang Newspaper and Radio - Television; live on HTV Sports channel of Ho Chi Minh City Television; and rebroadcast by newspapers and radio - television of provinces and cities across the country.

Thereby, introducing the unique culture of the Khmer people in the Bay Nui region, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere during the Sene Dolta Festival; introducing and promoting the tourism potential and strengths of An Giang province.
