In addition, this is also the first time that Vietnamese sports have successfully defended their leading position in two consecutive SEA Games. The success at the 32nd SEA Games is giving the athletes more mental strength before taking on bigger challenges. The immediate future is the 19th ASIAD in China at the end of September; the competitions for a place in the 2024 Olympics next summer.
