This philosophy originated in Japan and has been applied by many businesses since the 1950s. After a short time, Kaizen was noticed by quality management lecturers as well as businesses in the US and widely applied in many stages of research and production.
Since then, this method has gradually become popular around the world and has contributed greatly to creating super businesses, notably the famous car company - Toyota.
The word “kaizen” In Japanese, the original meaning is “change for the better”, and in Japanese dictionaries and in everyday use, the term also includes the meanings of “continuity” and “philosophy”.
However, after the term “kaizen” was widely used in business and industrial improvement methods, the word “kaizen” gradually came to mean “continuous improvement”. Kaizen should be understood as a psychological philosophy rather than a specific method. Over time, Kaizen has gradually developed more flexibly, and has been widely applied to life as well as business operations.
The Kaizen method is applied at SunUni Academy with the following major characteristics: Synthesizing and analyzing information, always looking for better ways, shortening time, the importance of maintenance, detecting loopholes and not blaming. This training method is being applied synchronously in classes at SunUni Academy and thanks to that, thousands of students have successfully conquered their English goals.
Kaizen is a powerful philosophy that helps students improve efficiency and quality not only in their studies but also in their lives and work through continuous small improvements.
Accordingly, the training program is methodically, systematically and flexibly built, serving many different types of learners, from students to working people; at the same time, applying advanced online learning platforms from technology partners, in line with the current digital transformation trend, to bring the best learning experience to learners.

According to a report by the internationaleducation organization EF Education First, for many years, Vietnam has been in the group of countries with low English proficiency. In 2023 alone, Vietnam's English proficiency index only reached 505/800 points, ranking 58th out of 113 countries and territories, and is in the group with average proficiency. Despite the improvement, this ranking shows that Vietnam still has a large gap compared to other countries in terms of English proficiency.
It is worth mentioning that one of the main causes of this situation, as pointed out by many studies, is due to the traditional teaching method, which focuses heavily on grammar and memorization, lacking practicality and real-life interaction. This leads to students having difficulty using English confidently even in simple everyday communication situations.
The need to improve English proficiency among young Vietnamese people has always existed, but the increasingly hectic pace of life makes it difficult to arrange time for in-person classes. After the restrictions caused by the pandemic, online learning was a temporary solution. This form has quickly become popular due to its optimization of time and cost, while also bringing convenience to students. This is also the form of training that SunUni Academy has been implementing for nearly 5 years.
