Accordingly, Apple has just added iMac models using M4 chips to its certified refurbished stores in the US, Canada, the UK and several other countries for the first time since the product was introduced in October 2024.
As is customary with refurbished Macs, all refurbished iMac M4 configurations are discounted by about 15% compared to new models on Apple’s online store. In the US, this AIO PC starts at $1,099 (new is $1,299).
All the usual accessories are included in the box with refurbished Macs. For the iMac M4, these include: Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, USB-C adapter, USB-C cable, and power cord. However, Apple's refurbished products come in a simpler white box.
Apple also says it conducts full functionality testing, as well as a thorough cleaning and inspection process for refurbished Macs. They also come with the company’s one-year limited warranty and are eligible for the AppleCare+ extended warranty.
Thus, a refurbished Mac is almost indistinguishable from a new one and users can own it for a more economical amount.
