Martial artist Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy lost 0-2 to her Indian opponent Devi Naorem in the women's 60kg wushu semi-final. Japanese reporter Yoshi Oya revealed how technology contributed to the success of the 19th Asian Games. He said: "This is the first Asian Games I have attended in 13 years since 2010. At that time, the tournament was also held in China (Guangzhou). On this return, I did not exchange cash because most payments can be made using QR codes. When I spoke to volunteers in English, they used a phone app to reply in Japanese. This helped me a lot."

Japanese tennis player complains about being bored in the athletes' village
Shintaro Mochizuki, a former ITF junior number one, laments being “constrained and having too much free time” in the athlete village. “I try to do the same as everyone else, but there is too much free time here, making it difficult for me to make friends. There are many famous athletes from other sports . I think they are fun, but there are so many different things here. I want to talk to athletes from other countries, but I am too shy,” Mochizuki said.
Mochizuki won the 2019 Wimbledon junior men's singles title and became the first Japanese player to reach the final of a junior Grand Slam tournament. At the age of 20, he reached 192nd place on the ATP rankings in July this year. In the semi-final match of the women's 67kg taekwondo against Chinese opponent Song Jie, Bac Thi Khiem lost 1-3, 1-11 after two rounds and was eliminated. Meanwhile, Vietnam did not win any more medals today, and was surpassed by Singapore in the overall rankings. Singapore's two silver medals came from sailing. Currently, Vietnam, despite having just won the overall SEA Games 32 in Cambodia, is ranked fifth in the region at the Asian Games, behind Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

When she won the gold medal in 2014, Thuy Vi scored 9.71 points.
After four fighters have competed in fencing, Thuy Vi is currently in second place behind Zahra Kiani (Iran) with 9.72 points. There are seven more fighters yet to compete, including one home athlete.

Malaysian female boxer cries after winning silver medal
Malaysia did not win any medals on the first two days. Vietnamese athletes competed in seven events today, including shooting, table tennis, swimming, chess, e-sports, taekwondo and wushu, of which table tennis and e-sports have not yet awarded medals.
The hope of shooting is on shooter Trinh Thu Vinh, as she has just won a place at the Olympics. In the women's 25m individual pistol qualifying round, Thu Vinh is currently ranked fourth with 292 points through 300 bullets. The swimming team will continue to compete in the qualifying round of three events this morning, with the goal of reaching the final. The team's peak performance was not at the 19th Asian Games, nor at the 32nd SEA Games in May. The achievements of most of the swimmers at this Games have fallen behind the regional arena.
The chess team also has a chance to bring home a gold medal, but not by much. Grandmaster Le Tuan Minh is currently in fourth place after seven individual rapid chess games, 0.5 points behind leader Wei Yi (Vi Dich). Tuan Minh will meet Vi Dich in the penultimate game at 2 p.m. and if he wins, he has a good chance of winning the gold medal. The final game will take place at 4 p.m. the same day.
The biggest medal hopes are probably in wushu , when 2014 Asian Games champion Duong Thuy Vi competes in the women's sword and spear finals. The sword competition will start at 8:40 a.m. and the spear competition at 2:35 p.m. , with the total score of the two events used to award medals.
