Three families donated land to build an inter-level school in the border commune of Nua Ngam.

Representatives of the leaders of the Project Management Board and Land Fund Development of Area 2 and leaders of Nua Ngam commune presented gifts and thanked 3 families who voluntarily donated land to contribute to the construction of the Nua Ngam Commune Inter-level School.

Expressing his gratitude to the Party Committee, government and people of Nua Ngam commune for facilitating and supporting the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nua Ngam Inter-level School to be carried out as planned, Mr. Chu Dinh Hung, Acting Director of the Project Management Board and Land Fund Development of Region 2, said: The inter-level school (primary-secondary school) has a total construction investment of 215 billion VND (from the central budget). The school is built on an area of 6 hectares, in Ten Nua village, Nua Ngam commune.

People of all ethnic groups in the border commune of Nua Ngam happily witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Nua Ngam Inter-level School, held on the morning of November 2.

Although the project implementation time is not long and there are many tasks that need to be done at the same time, with the support and high consensus of the local people, up to now, the progress of the construction of the Nua Ngam Commune Inter-level School has still met the requirements.

In particular, with the timely propaganda about the significance of the project by the Project Management Board and Land Fund Development of Area 2, the Party Committee and government of Nua Ngam commune, and the families with land in the project area have agreed and highly agreed.

Of which, 3 ethnic minority families, including Mr. Luong Van Thoa's family, Mr. Lo Van Kiem's family, Mr. Lo Van Thuong's family (in Ten Nua village) voluntarily donated land (in the project land) so that the investor has a construction site.

It is known that Nua Ngam Inter-level School is one of 15 schools in the border area of Dien Bien province that has been invested in and built according to the inter-level boarding school model in accordance with the direction of the Politburo in Notice of Conclusion 81-TB/TW on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes.

After Si Pa Phin Inter-level School (construction started on July 27, 2025), Nua Ngam Inter-level School is the second school that Dien Bien province has started construction on, meeting the expectations of the people and students of ethnic minorities in the area.

Representatives of the leaders of the Project Management Board and Land Fund Development of Area 2, together with officials and people of Nua Ngam commune, performed the groundbreaking ceremony to start the construction of Nua Ngam Inter-level School.

After completion, Nua Ngam Inter-level School has 31 classrooms, 14 subject classrooms, library, equipment room, school counseling room, tradition room, student dormitory (about 120 rooms), teacher dormitory (21 office rooms), dining room, kitchen, multi-purpose room, and administrative block all newly built.

In addition, there are also auxiliary items such as: ground, retaining wall, gate-fence, internal road, sports field, electricity, water, lighting, fire prevention and fighting, water supply and drainage systems and modern, synchronous equipment.

Teachers and students in Nua Ngam commune happily attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Inter-level School.

The entire Nua Ngam Inter-level School project, when put into operation, will provide a place to study, eat and rest for 1,080 students who are children of ethnic minorities in the border commune of Nua Ngam.

Dozens of equipment, vehicles and machinery of the units are ready to construct the Nua Ngam Inter-level School project.

The construction period of the project is two years (2025 and 2026); completion and handover for use in August 2026 to serve the opening of the 2026-2027 school year.
