
With the theme "Promoting the core political role, the strength of the great national unity, strongly arousing the will of self-reliance, self-improvement, innovation, creativity, the desire to contribute, join hands and unite to build Dong Nai province to develop green, rich, strong, civilized and modern" and the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Efficiency", the Congress objectively and comprehensively assessed the situation of all classes of people and the great national unity bloc; the results of implementing the resolution in the past 2 years; drawing out the causes and lessons learned, on that basis unifying the direction, goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
The consultative congress elected 117 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province for the 2025-2030 term; the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I, consists of 10 people; Ms. Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, continues to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, along with 9 Vice Chairmen.
Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy praised and congratulated the results that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province has achieved in the past time. He suggested that all levels of the Front in the province continue to innovate their thinking and working methods, promote propaganda and mobilize people in a comprehensive, focused and practical manner, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns with the motto "Think honestly, speak honestly, do honestly, get real results, and benefit the people".
Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy also emphasized the need to improve the quality of social supervision and criticism, actively participate in building the Party, building a clean and strong government and political system. The Front needs to proactively propose and coordinate to promptly resolve complex issues arising in practice, and at the same time coordinate to monitor the activities of the government, cadres, party members and leaders, ensuring publicity, transparency and effectiveness.
At the Congress, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Nai province, suggested that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province should focus on well implementing the election of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; actively innovate the content and methods of operation of the front, socio-political organizations, and affiliated associations in a practical, effective direction, focusing on the grassroots, close to the people, understanding the people, serving the people and taking residential areas as the center of activities. Front and mass organization cadres must be the nucleus of solidarity, close to the people, close to the grassroots; must listen, dialogue, take responsibility; no formality, no avoidance, no pushing, no wrongful performance.

The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province is a special congress, an important milestone after the merger and arrangement of socio-political organizations and mass associations assigned by the Party and State to be directly under the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
According to the assessment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, in recent times, the methods of propaganda, mobilization, and gathering people of all levels of the Front have been monotonous, lacking connection with each target group; the ability to grasp and forecast the situation of the people is sometimes passive. Patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in some places have been implemented in a formal manner, lacking depth, and unevenly between localities. Social supervision and criticism activities in some places have not really gone into depth, lacking follow-up and urging after supervision, so the effectiveness of social criticism is not high.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province will continue to promote its core role in consolidating and strengthening the building of the great national unity bloc; mobilizing and uniting people of all walks of life, ensuring consensus and high unity in ideology and action in implementing the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, effectively participating in the implementation of local political tasks; implementing a pilot model of social dialogue.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province strives to chair at least 18 monitoring sessions every year; 4 social criticism conferences; regularly coordinate social criticism on important draft resolutions, projects and policies of the locality; strives for over 90% of investment projects to have community supervision participation, ensuring publicity, transparency and efficiency in the implementation process; strives to support the construction and repair of at least 5,000 Great Solidarity houses. The "For the Poor" Fund mobilizes at least 65 billion VND/year. The provincial Front deploys a pilot model on community security. The Fronts at all levels mobilize over 50% of enterprises in the province to participate in social security activities, taking care of the poor; build a pilot model "From the inland to the border - Joining hands for community security", connecting inland wards and communes with border posts and border communes.
Dong Nai province has nearly 4.5 million people, with 25 recognized religious organizations; diverse ethnic composition. The whole province has over 195,000 members of the Farmers' Association, about 720,000 members of the Trade Union, more than 400,000 members of the Youth Union, nearly 800,000 members of the Women's Union and about 59,000 members of the Veterans' Association.
