Not only in Bac Giang, at 9:50 p.m. on June 2, the Northern region (except Hanoi ) established a new peak load of 17.9 thousand MW. According to the report of the Northern Power Corporation, this level is 3.47% higher than the peak in 2024 and 500 MW higher than the peak at noon on the same day.

To prevent the risk of local grid overload in some residential and urban areas, and ensure safe operation of the power system, Bac Giang Electricity Company recommends that people and businesses use electricity reasonably, especially during peak hours at noon (from 13:00 to 15:00) and in the evening (from 20:00 to 23:00), including:
Set the air conditioner at 27°C or higher, combine the use of fans and close the doors to increase cooling efficiency; do not use many high-capacity devices at the same time such as air conditioners, water heaters, irons, microwaves; turn off unnecessary devices when not in use or when leaving the room; use energy-saving devices and regularly check the electrical system to prevent risks.
Bac Giang Power Company and Northern Power Corporation affirmed that they will continue to mobilize maximum resources, strengthen inspection and supervision of the power system and quickly handle incidents, ensuring power supply for production, daily life and other essential needs.
