Bac Kan prosecutes two commune leaders for lack of responsibility causing serious consequences

According to the investigation, with their assigned duties and responsibilities, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Duong commune, Ha Van Quy, and Vice Chairman Hoang Van Duan, lacked responsibility in managing and supervising the implementation of the project "Supporting the development of production linked to the value chain associated with the consumption of broiler products" under the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

This project will be implemented from 2023-2025, chaired by Nhung Luy Cooperative.

The irresponsible behavior of the two commune leaders above caused a loss of more than 1.7 billion VND to the state budget.

Previously, on February 11, the Investigation Police Agency, Bac Kan Provincial Police prosecuted Dinh Tuyet Nhung, Director of Nhung Luy Cooperative, for the crime of "Abusing position and power to appropriate property".

These violations were reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper in the article Ensuring the effectiveness of production development support projects.

Provincial police are continuing to investigate the incident.
