Bac Lieu creates favorable conditions for transferring schools for children of officials and civil servants

NDO - On May 30, Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province, Nguyen Van Nguyen, said: The Department of Education and Training has sent a document to provincial agencies and units regarding the review of the need to transfer schools of children of officials, civil servants, and public employees when implementing the upcoming arrangement of provincial administrative units.

Accordingly, up to now, provincial departments and units have compiled a list of students who want to follow their families to Ca Mau and sent it to the Bac Lieu Departmentof Education and Training, so that the units can proactively coordinate with the Ca Mau Department of Education and Training to have an early plan, in order to best serve the learning needs of local children.

According to the project to reorganize Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces recently issued by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, Bac Lieu province currently has 15 agencies and public service units of the Party, the Fatherland Front, and socio- political organizations, with 327 cadres, civil servants, and public employees. Of which, the provincial government has 13 specialized agencies, with 842 cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

The review of school transfer needs by the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province is a proactive step, demonstrating its role and responsibility to ensure citizens’ right to education, creating conditions for parents to work with peace of mind. In particular, this work aims to help students transfer to a new school to study smoothly and conveniently; at the same time, it helps cadres, civil servants and public employees feel secure when transferring to a new workplace.

Also related to the education sector, Nguyen Van Nguyen, Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province, said: The Department of Education and Training of the province has just officially issued a document directing that in the 2025-2026 school year, enrollment in primary education for high-quality classes will be stopped. As for middle school and high school, enrollment will still be carried out but without entrance exams like in previous school years.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province, the suspension of high-quality primary education enrollment is to suit the actual situation of the locality. At the same time, it is to seriously implement the policies and guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training for primary education, to overcome the shortcomings and unreasonableness in the locality as in the past.
