The Executive Committee of the Tan An City Party Committee held its 20th Conference.

On the afternoon of April 10, 2024, the Executive Committee of the Tan An City Party Committee held its 20th meeting to assess the implementation of the Resolution for the first quarter; and to set directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2024. Simultaneously, they discussed and provided feedback on the draft Resolution of the City Party Committee on building a model of a safe traffic city; and the draft plan for rearranging commune-level administrative units in Tan An City, giai đoạn 2023 - 2025.

The conference was chaired by: Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of Tan An City - Le Cong Dinh; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee - Le Thi Khuyen; and Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan An City - Vo Hong Thao. Also in attendance were the Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department - Nguyen Viet Cuong; and representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Party building departments.

In the first quarter, the city's socio-economic situation remained stable. Trade and services continued to develop. Efforts to attract and promote investment and implement solutions to improve the local competitiveness index were prioritized. Basic construction projects were expedited, with leadership focusing on disbursing capital for construction in the early months of 2024. Compensation and land clearance work remained a priority.

Total state budget revenue in the first quarter reached 186 billion VND, achieving 22.5% of the provincial budget target. Efforts to restore urban order and aesthetics, and construction order were regularly maintained and gradually became more systematic. The program for developing high-tech agriculture linked to the restructuring of the agricultural sector and the National Target Program for building new rural areas received close attention and guidance. Comrade Le Cong Dinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Tan An City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Tan An City People's Council - delivered a speech at the conference.

Secretary of the Tan An City Party Committee and Chairman of the Tan An City People's Council, Le Cong Dinh, requested that leaders of communes and wards review outstanding tasks from the first quarter to resolve them completely by April 2024. In addition, they should focus on implementing the City Party Committee's plan to organize activities celebrating the 15th anniversary of the city's establishment (September 9, 2009 - September 9, 2024), linked with projects celebrating the Tan An City Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Furthermore, they should concentrate on completing the necessary documents and procedures for recognizing wards as achieving the standard of a civilized urban area.
