Giving houses to poor and near-poor households facing housing difficulties

The Steering Committee of the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of Long An Province coordinated with Vinh Hung District to organize a handover ceremony of 42 Great Solidarity houses to poor and near-poor households in the district. These are households that benefit from the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of the province.

Accordingly, 42 poor and near-poor households in Vinh Hung district were supported by the Provincial Steering Committee for the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses with VND80 million each to build houses, with a total support cost of VND3.36 billion.

Currently, the whole Vinh Hung district still has 174 poor households and 506 near-poor households. Among them, many households have difficulties with housing, do not have land, and are unable to buy land to build permanent houses.

Most of these households live in temporary houses, affecting family economic development.

Giving gifts on the occasion of new housewarming

This is a meaningful activity, contributing positively to social security work in Vinh Hung district. Having a stable place to live motivates families to continue to make efforts in labor and production, soon rise up to stabilize their lives and escape poverty sustainably./.
