Handing over "Union Shelter" to Ms. Ho Thi Thanh Thuy

(ABO) On the morning of June 4, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Tien Giang province coordinated with the Trade Union of YMUV Company Limited to organize the handover ceremony of "Trade Union Shelter" to Ms. Ho Thi Thanh Thuy, a member of the company's Trade Union, currently residing in Binh Tinh quarter, Binh Phu town, Cai Lay district.

Ho Thi Thanh Thuy's family has 6 members and their economic conditions are extremely difficult. Her husband works as a porter and has an unstable income; the eldest daughter has an ovarian cyst and has had surgery twice, the middle child is in college, and the youngest child is only 2 years old and has to be taken care of by her grandmother. The whole family mainly depends on her salary of more than 7 million VND/month.

Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Tien Giang Province Ngo Lam Vu Phong presented a gift to Ms. Ho Thi Thanh Thuy at the house handover ceremony.

From the “Union Shelter” Fund of the Tien Giang Provincial Labor Federation, Ms. Thuy received 50 million VND in support. In addition, YMUV Company Limited also supported an additional 30 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.

The house is built with a semi-permanent structure, concrete foundation, steel reinforcement, cement columns, walls, corrugated iron roof, cement floor, total area of ​​90 ^m2 , started on April 28 and completed on May 26.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, comrade Ngo Lam Vu Phong, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks in Tien Giang province, said that the "Trade Union Shelter" program not only provides a roof to protect from the rain and sun, but also shows the concern and companionship of the Trade Union organization with union members overcoming difficulties.

He hopes that after having a new house, the family will be able to work and produce with peace of mind, develop a stable economy, and have the conditions to renovate and improve the house.
