Handing over houses to poor households in Tra Don commune

(QNO) - On the morning of June 3, the Military Command of Nam Tra My district coordinated with the People's Committee of Tra Don commune to organize a house handover ceremony for Mr. Ho Van Cang's family (village 2), a poor household that received support to remove temporary houses.

The newly built house has a total area of ​​over ^60m2 , including 1 living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 kitchen. The total construction cost of 60 million VND was supported by the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Writers and Artists; Tra Don commune provided additional materials, and the District Military Command contributed more than 40 working days.

According to the plan, in 2025, the Military Command of Nam Tra My district will support the demolition of temporary houses for 8 households (1 household in Tra Nam commune, 7 households in Tra Don commune). It is expected that the remaining 7 houses will be completed and handed over this June.

By the end of May 2025, the total number of houses for poor households approved by the district for the 2023-2025 period was 1,813 (1,461 newly built houses and 352 repaired houses). Currently, 1,054 houses have been completed, 303 houses are in the process of starting construction. According to the plan, all remaining houses will be completed before August 2025.
