Handing over charity houses to poor households in Huoi Luong commune

On May 6, the Logistics Department (Provincial Police) held a house handover ceremony for Mr. Sung A Gia's family - Ngai Cho 1 village, Huoi Luong commune, Phong Tho district.

Mr. Sung A Gia's family is poor, in difficult circumstances, living in a makeshift house for many years. Understanding his family's situation, the Logistics Department (Provincial Police) urgently deployed the construction of a new house for his family. The project started on April 20, with the help of the Party Committee, local authorities, and people in the village, the project was completed after only nearly 20 days of construction, helping Mr. Gia's family stabilize their lives, work and produce with peace of mind.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Tuan - Head of Logistics Department (Provincial Police) said that the Old Man's House is one of the earliest completed houses of the unit in the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. This is a practical activity demonstrating the spirit of "Serving the people" of Lai Chau Police force, contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies, consolidating the people's hearts in the border area with many difficulties.

It is known that, implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and Lai Chau Provincial Police, the collective leadership and officers and soldiers of the Logistics Department actively went to the area, went to each house to coordinate with the people in inspecting and urging the progress of house construction. At the same time, the organization rotated and assigned 50% of officers and soldiers to directly participate in building houses with the people in the communes: Huoi Luong, Nam Xe, Hoang Then, Dao San (Phong Tho district). The unit strived to complete the construction of 25/500 houses, exceeding the target by 1 month.
