As of 7:00 p.m. on May 12, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation has officially reached the milestone of 70 Gold medals at the 32nd SEA Games after impressive achievements of the Wushu, Athletics, Taakwondo and Diving Teams.

As of 7 p.m., the Vietnamese Sports Delegation had won 10 gold medals on the competition day of May 12 at the 32nd SEA Games in Wushu, Athletics, Taekwondo and Diving.
Wushu had a successful competition with 5 Gold medals from Nong Van Huu, Nguyen Thi Lan, Bui Truong Giang, Truong Van Chuong and Dinh Van Bi.
Athletics contributed two Gold medals from Nguyen Thi Oanh and the Women's 4x400m relay team (Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Nguyen Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Huyen).
Taekwondo has its first Gold medal in the Men's team standard form event by Pham Quoc Viet, Nguyen Thien Phung, Nguyen Trong Phuc.
The Diving team officially entered the competition and consecutively won two Gold medals by Nguyen Thanh Loc and Le Thi Thanh Van.
With this impressive achievement, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation has officially reached the milestone of 70 Gold medals at the 32nd SEA Games to firmly stand at the top of the medal tally.
