Da Nang City Border Guard established 11 units to ensure security, order and safety for the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

DNO - On May 27, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command said that before, during and after the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, the city's Border Guard will deploy plans to coordinate and cooperate with security forces for this major event.

Accordingly, during the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, the city's Border Guard will mobilize maximum ships, boats and canoes, arrange routes on the Han River reasonably, proactively and effectively handle any unexpected situations that may arise, ensure absolute safety of people, weapons, equipment, vehicles and participate in search and rescue.

Accordingly, 11 departments will be established, including: Department of propaganda, notification, cleaning of the Han River water surface and standing before the shooting nights; Department of ensuring water safety and security; Department of welcoming the Organizing Committee, the competition teams, leaders, and delegates; Department of coordinating to ensure security and safety on both sides of the Han River; Department of support and emergency; Department of direct guidance and arrangement of tourist boats; Security department; Department of standing at the Operations Center; Mobile and support department; Department of participating in Standing at the Emergency Response Command Center of the City People's Committee.

According to the Organizing Committee, compared to previous years, DIFF 2025 has a remarkable innovation when adding one more competition night and the number of participating teams, and organizing 32 supporting activities on the sidelines. In addition, many units have registered to organize accompanying events, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the festival season. In particular, the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III) will also take place from June 29 to July 5, parallel to the fireworks nights, requiring close and smooth coordination in organizing two large-scale events.
