Specifically, the Chinese delegation won a total of 37 medals, including 15 gold, 12 silver and 10 bronze medals. The Australian delegation ranked second with 13 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze medals, a total of 28 medals. With 10 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze medals, the US sports delegation ranked third.

This is the total number of medals in all competitions at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships. At this tournament in 2024, China was also the leading team but they won 23 gold medals. The US and Australia also shared the third and fourth places.

However, when it comes to swimming alone, the Americans are the clear winners this year. They won 9 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze medals, topping the swimming rankings at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships.

Coming in second are Australian athletes with 8 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals. French athletes came in third with 4 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals. Coming in next is Canada (4 gold, 4 bronze).

The 2025 Aquatics World Championships will take place from July 11 to August 3 in Singapore. In addition to the "golden event" of swimming, the tournament will also feature other sports such as open water swimming, diving, artistic swimming and water polo.
