Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee appointed Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee

Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong was assigned by the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee.

On the afternoon of November 16, Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work.

At the conference, the representative of the Central Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Secretariat on Mr. Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau province - to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and cease holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

At the same time, mobilize and appoint to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Presenting the decision and congratulating Mr. Le Van Luong, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong requested the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, and leaders at all levels and sectors of Dien Bien province to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity and unity, creating conditions for Mr. Luong to perform well his duties in his new position.

The new Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, Le Van Luong, said this is both an honor and a heavy responsibility assigned by the Party Committee, government and people.

In his new position, Mr. Luong vows to devote all his abilities, efforts, endeavors, and solidarity with the Standing Committee and Executive Committee to promptly concretize the resolutions of the Provincial Party Congress into programs, plans, projects, and resolutions for effective implementation.

Mr. Le Van Luong (57 years old), from Ha Nam , now Ninh Binh province. Professional qualifications: Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Accounting, Master of Economic Management, Bachelor of Politics.

Mr. Luong used to be Vice Chairman, Chairman of Than Uyen District People's Committee, Chairman of Tan Uyen District People's Committee, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Chief of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee Office, Chairman of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee and then Permanent Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee.

From July 2023 to present, he has held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau province.
