This morning (June 5) in Hanoi, the Press Department, Culture Newspaper (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (HANOISME) organized the Workshop "Press accompanies the building and development of corporate culture in the new era". The workshop was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025),
The workshop aims to deploy and implement Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development, which identifies the private economy as one of the most important driving forces of the national economy . In addition, it aims to build a team of entrepreneurs with ethics, business culture, honesty, integrity, social responsibility, associated with national identity, accessing the quintessence of world business culture, carrying the aspiration to build a rich, powerful, prosperous country; taking ethics and business culture as the core, promoting the spirit of respect for the law.
The workshop was attended by more than 300 delegates, including leaders of departments, ministries, branches, leaders of press agencies, businesses, experts, researchers, and professional social organizations. With the participation of managers and experts, this workshop continued to affirm that corporate culture is the foundation for sustainable development, the driving force to promote competitiveness and national position.
With the theme "Press accompanies the building and development of corporate culture in the new era", the workshop clarified the key role of the press in conveying, spreading and promoting corporate cultural values, helping to form a healthy, transparent and sustainable business environment in the context of international economic integration and digital transformation.
The workshop is also an open forum for the press and businesses to exchange and share experiences, thereby building effective communication strategies, contributing to supporting businesses in forming and developing business culture in the new era, in order to establish a strong, mutually supportive relationship between two entities that have a great influence in social life.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong highly appreciated the significance of the workshop and emphasized that the workshop was a practical activity, on the occasion of the Politburo issuing Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development. Enterprises are a force playing an important role in the economy. In that process, corporate culture emerged as a fundamental pillar.
Deputy Minister Ho An Phong said that the press plays an important role in accompanying the construction and development of corporate culture. The press has discovered, criticized, and spread the core values in corporate culture. The press is not only a bridge but also a communication channel, participating in creating and developing corporate culture. The press helps handle communication crises for businesses; connecting businesses and their products to people and society. The development of businesses and corporate culture must be accompanied by the press and vice versa. That relationship is two-way. Thanks to the press, businesses are strengthened in terms of brand and reputation with partners. At the same time, the press contributes to orienting and communicating for the development of corporate culture.
According to Dr. Nguyen Anh Vu - Editor-in-Chief of Culture Newspaper, in the era of digital transformation, deep integration and strong globalization, the press has more opportunities and responsibilities in accompanying businesses to build and develop corporate culture in the direction of humanity, integrity, responsibility and innovation.
Therefore, the workshop "Press accompanies the building and development of corporate culture in the new era" was organized to create an open, substantive and strategic forum for exchange between journalists, business people, policy makers, communication and management experts.
At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing a number of issues such as: How can the press effectively participate in the process of building corporate culture? What forms of communication best spread corporate cultural values in the digital society? What is the role of the press in promoting the implementation of Resolution 68 on private economic development associated with improving business ethics and social responsibility?...
In the era of digital transformation, the press supports businesses, thereby contributing to shaping the identity, ethics, reputation and competitiveness of businesses domestically as well as in the international market.
