Representatives of leaders of local Party press agencies in the Central Highlands region attended the workshop.

Attending the workshop were Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee; representatives of 19 Party press agencies in the Central Highlands region and many press agencies nationwide.

“Green transformation is one of the important contents identified by the Party and State in the process of national construction and development. An important factor to promote green transformation in Vietnam is the demonstration of responsibility and participation of the entire political system, agencies, units, enterprises and the whole community, including the press. Under the leadership of the Party, with its functions and tasks, the Vietnamese revolutionary press in general and local Party newspapers in particular have clearly demonstrated their mettle on the information and propaganda front; effectively encouraging and spreading the motivation to promote green transformation and actively contributing to changing the awareness, actions and consensus of society on this issue” - Journalist Ho Thi Lan, Editor-in-Chief of Lam Dong Newspaper, gave a speech to introduce the workshop.

This workshop is an opportunity for Party newspapers of provinces and cities in the region to exchange practical experiences; advantages and difficulties in communicating the national strategy on green transformation towards a green environment and sustainable development. Delegates focused on exchanging and contributing ideas close to reality, contributing to improving propaganda work so that people of all walks of life can access and have correct awareness of green transformation; thereby having positive thinking, leading to drastic and practical actions in life.

The presentations covered many aspects and highlighted the characteristics of each locality in the green transition process; they are very valuable resources for localities to refer to in the process of promoting information and propaganda about green transition.

19 Party press agencies in the region jointly presented their opinions affirming the correctness of the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, the State's policies and laws on green transformation; highlighting the role and responsibility of the press in general, and local Party newspapers in particular, in order to contribute to changing thinking, awareness, and specific actions in the community to join hands in promoting green transformation in a sustainable manner. At the same time, focusing on clarifying concerns, proposing appropriate methods of operation, solutions, and methods, professional training, etc. to improve the effectiveness and quality of press works on promoting green transformation.

Some papers have mentioned current issues, had a critical nature and proposed many useful proposals and solutions in the in-depth propaganda work on green transformation. Thua Thien Hue Newspaper with the discussion "Thua Thien Hue is accelerating to become a centrally-governed city by 2025 based on the foundation of socio-economic development, promoting the value of the ancient capital's heritage and Hue's cultural identity, with the characteristics of "culture, heritage, ecology, landscape, environmental friendliness and intelligence".

From the goals and strategic orientations of Hue urban construction as well as socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue province, Thua Thien Hue Newspaper has been proactive, closely following the content and program and regularly coordinating with local Party committees, authorities, units, departments and branches in the province to promote propaganda to promote green transformation, green economy and green growth.

The content of the presentation highlighted the advantages for Thua Thien Hue to implement green transformation and green growth. At the same time, it affirmed: In order to promote effective propaganda on this content, in recent times, Thua Thien Hue Newspaper has regularly followed the Party's guidelines, policies, resolutions, policies, laws of the State; resolutions, directives, decisions of the Party Committee, the government of Thua Thien Hue province in informing, writing propaganda articles to encourage and motivate subjects, organizations, economic sectors to actively participate in the construction, protection of political security, socio-economic development towards green growth, green transformation and sustainability.

Forces of Thua Thien Hue province join hands to clean up the environment

Thua Thien Hue Newspaper has constantly improved and enhanced the quality of content and format of daily and weekend newspapers; promoted the improvement of information quality on online newspapers, to promote the economic, political, cultural, tourism strengths, and attract investment in Thua Thien Hue; focused on many articles on promoting green transformation and green growth in the fields of politics, economics, and society. At the same time, strongly promoted events and movements. These are Green Sunday, National Digital Transformation Day, Hue Festival, Hue Traditional Craft Festival, World Heritage Day, Environmental Action Month... In particular, before important events to collect opinions and discuss such as the construction of Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-run city in the spirit of Resolution 54-NQ/TW, dated December 10, 2019 of the Politburo on "Building and developing Thua Thien Hue province to 2030, vision to 2045", Thua Thien Hue Newspaper has published many articles and series of articles of current events.

At the workshop, with the consensus and financial contributions of 19 Party newspapers, the Organizing Committee decided to build a house for the family of Mr. Kră Jăn Ha Chieng and Ms. K'Lieng Mi La Sinh (residing in Hamlet 3, Da Sar Commune, Lac Duong District). Up to now, the new house has been completed with an area of ​​over 30 square meters. The total construction cost is over 200 million VND; of which, the support fund from 19 Party newspapers in the Central - Central Highlands region is 100 million VND, 46 million VND from the Socio-Economic Development Program for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas, the People's Committee of Da Sar Commune mobilized benefactors to support 20 million VND and the remaining 40 million VND was matched by Mr. Ha Chieng's family.
