Lao Cai Newspaper improves skills in ensuring Information Security in newspaper publishing

The training session was attended by more than 40 trainees including comrades in the Editorial Board, leaders of specialized departments, and all reporters and technicians working at Lao Cai Newspaper.

Opening the training session, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam, Editor-in-Chief of Lao Cai Newspaper, thoroughly grasped the content of ensuring information security in cyberspace and the converged newsroom system, and emphasized that the content of articles must be stored securely, not leaked, and ensure high confidentiality.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam requested that editors exploiting data on the network environment must ensure safety, exploit information on online newspapers with high security, such as: Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper, Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, VTV, VTC... For individuals, absolutely do not share, post content that is provocative, hostile, inciting, or comment on offensive content on social networking sites.

Also during the training session, the comrade in charge of information security and digital transformation of Lao Cai Newspaper instructed on the following contents: ensuring personal information security; building and implementing procedures, basic response to network information security incidents; basic skills to ensure information security; ensuring security of accounts accessing the "Converged Newsroom" system...

The training course helps trainees practice and improve their capacity, awareness and practical skills in ensuring network information security.
