When the State invested in opening a new road through Lang Qua village, Mr. Nguyen Dang Bay's family was the pioneer in donating nearly 1,500 square meters of rice fields to build the road. When the Bao Dap - Tan Dong road was further invested in by the province to renovate and upgrade the road surface from 3.5 meters to 5.5 meters wide, Mr. Bay once again voluntarily moved back the fence and donated more garden land for the project.
"The government invests in building roads, we as citizens must support them. The roads are wider, vehicles travel more conveniently, and our future generations will also benefit. Thinking of that, I and other households in the village all agreed to move the fence and donate land" - Mr. Nguyen Dang Bay (Lang Qua village) shared.
The Bao Dap - Tan Dong road project is nearly 1 km long and has a drainage system from Provincial Road 163 to Tan Dong with a total investment of 24 billion VND. For the project to be implemented smoothly, 29 households along the road have voluntarily dismantled fences, auxiliary works and donated nearly 5,000 m² of land, creating conditions for the construction unit to complete on schedule.

Mr. Le Vinh Hoan - Head of Lang Qua village said: In the past, every time a road was opened or a project was done, some households were hesitant and worried. But now, people understand the long-term benefits, so when the commune launched the movement, everyone responded. Many households also voluntarily supported with materials and labor.

Currently, 100% of the traffic routes in Tran Yen commune have been paved, but many routes are degraded, narrow and do not meet the development needs. To prepare for the new phase, the commune has determined to proactively plan and expand the infrastructure space, in which the movement of moving fences and donating land is an important foundation.
The movement of moving fences and donating land vividly demonstrates the people's spirit of mastery and trust in the Party and the government. Each square meter of land donated by the people is a testament to their unanimity and togetherness in building Tran Yen commune to be more civilized and modern.
In addition, people also actively planted flowers, decorated fences, contributed labor days to build drainage ditches, paved sidewalks, and installed lighting systems. Projects such as cultural houses, intra-field canals, sports fields, and schools were all supported, creating a new look for Tran Yen.

To achieve this result, the commune always focuses on propaganda and mobilization according to the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people check, people benefit". Typical examples of implementing the movement are the clusters of villages Thanh Thinh, Hoa Cuong, Minh Quan, Tan Dong with creative and practical ways of doing things, especially cadres and party members always take the lead as exemplary role models.
The land donated by the people is a vivid proof of the belief in positive changes on the journey of building a new, civilized, modern, rich and meaningful countryside. The people's contributions to the community gradually create more livable and spacious countryside. This is an important driving force to help Tran Yen commune become a typical example in the movement of donating land for roads and public works to serve the community.
