Downtown real estate still attracts customers
The real estate market in Quang Ninh in the first two quarters of the year has shown clear signs of improvement. According to a survey at a number of real estate floors, the number of transactions has increased by over 12% since the beginning of the year compared to the same period. The level of interest has increased sharply in central areas such as Ha Long, Van Don, Cam Pha, Mong Cai. In the buying and selling market, the level of interest has increased in all segments.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Vice President of Vietnam Real Estate Association, said that Quang Ninh is a locality with a strong real estate market development in recent times. Quang Ninh has a synchronous and systematic planning, with great potential for tourism development. "According to the planning, by 2030, Quang Ninh will have 7 cities including: Ha Long, Cam Pha, Uong Bi, Mong Cai - Hai Ha, Dong Trieu, Quang Yen, Van Don. This is the basis showing that Quang Ninh will still be a land full of potential for real estate market development," Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh commented.
Quang Ninh is a province with the fastest tourism growth rate in the country. In 2024, the locality aims to welcome 17 million visitors, including 3 million international tourists, with total tourism revenue reaching over 39 trillion VND.
In the first 4 months of 2024, Quang Ninh welcomed 7,069,000 visitors (international visitors reached 1,555,000), an increase of 19% over the same period in 2023, an increase of 25% compared to the growth scenario. Total tourism revenue in 4 months is estimated at 14,500 billion VND, an increase of 34% over the same period in 2023. This is one of the advantages of the Quang Ninh real estate market.
Increased demand in the secondary market
Real estate experts say that in the second half of 2024, the attractiveness of the Quang Ninh real estate market will increase. The real demand from owning a second home and exploiting for rent also contributes to promoting the cash flow into this market. With the leading position in the entire Northern region, this market is thriving in all indicators.
