Subject Tran Thi Huong confessed to her crime at the police station.

Initial information, at around 2:00 p.m. on January 20, 2025, Phu Hoi Ward Police received a report from Ms. Tran Thi X. (52 years old, residing on Nguyen Gia Thieu Street, Phu Hau Ward, Phu Xuan District) that a thief had stolen more than 60 million VND.

Upon receiving the report, Phu Hoi Ward Police quickly dispatched forces to the scene to investigate and verify. By using professional measures, by 9:00 p.m. the same day, the Ward Police identified Tran Thi Huong (50 years old, residing in Loc Bon Commune, Phu Loc District) as having signs of committing a crime, so they coordinated with Loc Bon Commune Police to arrest her and take her to the police station for further investigation.

At the police station, suspect Huong confessed: at around 1:00 p.m. on January 20, 2025, Huong drove a motorbike with license plate 75AK - 079.07 to Ms. X's vegetable kiosk on Tran Quang Khai Street to buy goods and discovered a red plastic bucket on the ground with a lot of money, so she had the intention of stealing property. Taking advantage of Ms. X's carelessness, Huong took more than 60 million VND and escaped.

Currently, Phu Hoi Ward Police are continuing to consolidate the case file to handle the subject Tran Thi Huong according to the provisions of law.
