Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Exercise Steering Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee.

According to the assessment of the Ministry of National Defense's Exercise Steering Committee, the one-sided two-level command-staff exercise on the map with a part of cyberspace combat for Command 86 successfully completed the task, according to plan, and achieved the required goals. The components and forces participating in the exercise and serving the exercise had a high sense of responsibility; strictly followed the Army's discipline and the regulations of the Exercise Steering Committee.

Through the exercise, the order and content of preparation and practice of cyberspace operations were unified; the qualifications of commanders, agencies and units in organizing, preparing and practicing operations were improved; and the quality of equipment, means, organization and staffing, and combat capabilities of the cyberspace operations force were properly assessed.

The results of the exercise are of great significance to the cyberspace and information technology operations force of the entire army in general, and Command 86 in particular; contributing to clarifying the theory and practice in building the all-people national defense posture associated with the people's security posture in cyberspace; affirming the correctness and creativity in the Party's viewpoints, policies and guidelines on military art, people's war art, on the tasks of national defense, security and protection of the Fatherland in cyberspace in the new situation. This is also an important basis to continue to supplement and perfect the system of operational documents, while consolidating and enhancing the cyberspace operations potential for the forces of Command 86 and agencies and units of the entire army.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the exercise, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang acknowledged and congratulated the achievements of the agencies and units in the exercise in the 1-side, 2-level command-and-staff exercise on a map of a part of the cyberspace combat exercise for Command 86 in 2025.

Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang requested agencies and units to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, dated July 25, 2018 of the Politburo (12th tenure) on the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in cyberspace, focusing on building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern cyberspace operations force, acting as the core in protecting national sovereignty in cyberspace; Decree No. 98/2015/ND-CP dated October 19, 2015 of the Government on the organization and operation of the cyberspace operations force, thereby firmly grasping and effectively implementing the content and tasks of cyberspace operations conducted in both peacetime and wartime.

Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang and Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung presented awards to agencies and units that successfully completed the exercise tasks.

Along with the concern for building a strong cyberspace combat force, agencies and units focus on developing complete combat plans and assurance plans to be ready to effectively deal with any situation that may arise. Strictly handle acts of revealing military secrets, arbitrarily posting information and images related to military activities, national defense, defense diplomacy, internal activities that negatively affect the image and reputation of the Army and agencies and units on the mass media.

For the specialized cyberspace operations force of agencies and units, it is necessary to promote the core and specialized role in the fight to protect national sovereignty in cyberspace. Specifically, it is necessary to focus on promoting information and propaganda work, gradually building and perfecting the national defense posture associated with the people's security posture; building and perfecting the legal corridor to improve the effectiveness of State management in the task of protecting the Fatherland in cyberspace.

Actively coordinate and cooperate with agencies and units inside and outside the Army to promote the combined strength of cyber warfare forces; invest in building information warfare weapons systems, specialized and specialized cyber warfare and systems and tools to ensure information security; focus on information warfare weapons systems and cyber warfare weapons. Continue to build and stabilize the organization and staffing, deploy specific mechanisms and policies to attract and supplement high-quality human resources for the cyber warfare force to meet mission requirements in the new situation.
