At the press conference on the results of implementing political tasks in the first 9 months of 2024 in Ben Tre province on the morning of October 1, Mr. Nguyen Truc Son, Permanent Vice Chairman of Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee, said that from the beginning of 2024 to now, Party organizations have disciplined 95 party members (including 32 members at all levels), down 23.3% compared to the same period in 2023 (95/124).
Of the 95 disciplined party members, 56 were reprimanded, 18 were warned and 21 were expelled from the Party.
According to the Standing Vice Chairman of Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Truc Son, the province's disbursement rate is currently ranked 5th in the Mekong Delta region and 15th in the country. The province is focusing on implementing key projects after completing investment procedures, in which the Korean ODA project will start construction at the end of October.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Tran Thanh Lam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, expressed his gratitude and contributions from central and local press agencies to the socio-economic development of Ben Tre province. He requested that the provincial departments and branches acknowledge and accept reasonable opinions and proposals and promptly resolve any shortcomings and problems from information reflected by the press.
At the same time, we hope that the press agencies will continue to accompany the locality to widely propagate the province's policies and guidelines, thereby helping the masses understand the provisions of the law, contributing to the development of Ben Tre.
