Bach Mai Hospital 2nd facility is about to operate, recruiting more than 1,000 medical staff

(Dan Tri) - Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co said that Bach Mai Hospital, branch 2 in Ninh Binh, will be put into operation before November 30. The hospital is actively recruiting high-quality human resources for this place.

On the afternoon of July 3, at the workshop "Enhancing the quality of training and recruiting high-quality human resources and talents" organized by Bach Mai Hospital, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co said that Bach Mai Hospital, branch 2, needs at least 1,200 staff, including about 300 doctors.

"With a scale of 1,000 beds, we need thousands of high-quality medical staff. Currently, recruitment is being accelerated, with special priority given to recruiting well-trained resident doctors," Associate Professor Co said.

According to the Director of Bach Mai Hospital, the second facility of the hospital in Ha Nam (old), now Ninh Binh, is an extremely important project, with modern and synchronous investment in infrastructure and equipment.

The Government, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Health have been giving strong directions for Bach Mai Hospital to soon start operations here, meeting the need for high-quality medical examination and treatment for people in the southern region of Hanoi and neighboring provinces.

The hospital is striving to put the second facility into operation on schedule before November 30 to meet medical examination and treatment needs.

The hospital also increased the number of beds at Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi.

Associate Professor Co said that the hospital has currently approved 3,600 planned beds, and proposed to increase 900 planned beds in clinical units. The total bed capacity will increase to 4,500 beds.

To operate the Ninh Binh facility with 1,000 beds, about 1,200 staff are needed, including nearly 300 doctors; 600 nurses, technicians...

Currently, Bach Mai Hospital has recruited more than 100 highly qualified resident doctors who continue to receive training and development in technical skills and medical ethics.

Mr. Co affirmed that when it comes into operation, the quality of Bach Mai Hospital, Facility 2, will be the same as Facility 1, or even better than Facility 1. "Because Bach Mai Hospital, Facility 2 is newly built, the equipment is synchronous and modern, and with the prepared human resources of the hospital, the quality of medical examination and treatment will certainly be good," said the Director of Bach Mai Hospital.

According to him, Bach Mai Hospital Branch 2 is like an extension of the main branch, there is no difference in professional quality. The professor and head of department of Branch 1 must be the head of department of Branch 2, to ensure uniformity and consistency.
