Support Tan Son Nhat airport and border gates to deploy response to prevent the disease caused by the Marburg virus from entering Vietnam.

Marburg virus is related to Ebola virus, this is a virus transmitted from animals to humans, causing hemorrhagic fever and severe bleeding in many parts of the body. Infected people will have a sudden high fever and bleeding in many parts of the body, causing shock, organ failure and rapid death. Marburg disease has a mortality rate of 23% to 90%, and there is currently no treatment or vaccine.
