Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance has just issued a document requesting the local Social Insurance and the Department of Collection Management and Participant Development to review and transfer the initial medical examination and treatment registration place of health insurance participants who are registered at facilities that have terminated their health insurance medical examination and treatment contracts to other medical examination and treatment facilities.
According to the results of the review of the health insurance assessment system, there are still people who registered for initial medical examination and treatment at medical examination and treatment facilities that have terminated their contracts. Specifically, including:
1. Minh Anh International Hospital - 36, Street 1B, Binh Tri Dong B Ward, Binh Tan District (Clinical Code: 79460).
2. Multidisciplinary clinic, facility 2, Go Vap District Hospital - 304 Quang Trung, Ward 11, Go Vap District (Clinical examination code: 79470).
3. Phuong Dong Hospital - 79 Thanh Thai, Ward 14, District 10 (Medical Code: 79472).
4. Vu Anh International General Hospital - 16 Phan Van Tri, Ward 7, Go Vap District (Medical Code: 79496).
5. Phuc An Khang International Hospital - 800 Dong Van Cong, Ward 1, Thanh My Loi Ward, Thu Duc City (Medical Treatment Code: 79506).
6. Multidisciplinary clinic of Saigon Healthcare Investment Services Joint Stock Company - 45 Thanh Thai, Ward 14, District 10 (Medical Procedure Code: 79631).
7. Medical Station of University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City - 215 Hong Bang, Cho Lon Ward, District 5 (Medical Examination Code: 79069).
On the evening of October 28, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance, said that the medical facilities mentioned in the document had long since stopped their health insurance medical examination and treatment contracts.
However, through the review process, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance found that there were still people with health insurance cards registering for initial medical examination and treatment at these facilities.
Faced with that situation, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance has requested the grassroots Social Insurance, the Department of Collection Management and Participant Development to coordinate in reviewing and transferring people who are registering for initial medical examination and treatment at units that have terminated their contracts to medical facilities that still have valid health insurance medical examination and treatment contracts, in order to ensure the medical examination and treatment rights of participants.
Explanation for suspension of health insurance contract
Before the information that the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance Agency issued a document stating that some medical facilities had suspended health insurance examination contracts, including Minh Anh International Hospital, but there were still people registered for initial medical examination and treatment here, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, Chairman of the Board of Members of Minh Anh International Hospital, said that with the written consent of the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance Agency, Minh Anh International Hospital had suspended health insurance examination contracts for many years now.
As for why the hospital had terminated the contract but people still registered, he did not know the reason.
Previously, Minh Anh International Hospital signed a health insurance examination contract with the Social Insurance Agency of Ho Chi Minh City, but due to many reasons, including the desire to develop the hospital in a specialized direction, it no longer accepts initial medical examination and treatment.
