Lam Dong II Hospital has a new Acting Director

Director of Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health Huynh Thi Phuong Duyen presented the decision to transfer Mr. Le Van Tien to work at Lam Dong II Hospital and assigned him to hold the position of Acting Director of the Hospital.

On the afternoon of March 31, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health held a conference to announce the decision to transfer Mr. Le Van Tien - Director of Lam Dong General Hospital to work at Lam Dong II Hospital and assigned him to the position of Acting Director of the Hospital. Mr. Le Van Tien was assigned to act as Director of Lam Dong II Hospital from April 1, 2025 until the position of Director of Lam Dong II Hospital is completed.

Mr. Le Van Tien was born in 1970 and is a Specialist II. In July 2019, while he was Deputy Director of Lam Dong General Hospital, Mr. Tien participated in the exam for the position of management leader of Lam Dong General Hospital organized by the Department of Health. There were 3 candidates participating in the exam and Mr. Tien achieved the highest score, then was appointed to the position of Director of Lam Dong General Hospital until now.

Lam Dong II Hospital is a grade II provincial hospital built with a scale of 500 beds, with the task of examining, treating and providing inpatient treatment for people in the southern districts of Lam Dong.

After being assigned as Acting Director of Lam Dong II Hospital, Mr. Le Van Tien is responsible for managing and operating the activities of Lam Dong II Hospital according to the prescribed functions and tasks; at the same time, he is entitled to allowances according to current regulations.

For more than a month, Lam Dong II Hospital has been operating without a direct CEO. Previously, on the evening of February 17, after conducting a search and collecting relevant documents, the Investigation Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue a 4-month temporary detention order against Mr. Huynh Ngoc Thanh - Director of Lam Dong II Hospital and Mr. Tran Van Thanh - Acting Head of the Hospital's Supplies Department to investigate violations related to bidding and purchasing of medical supplies and equipment at Lam Dong II Hospital.
