Party cell secretary, hamlet chief skillful in mass mobilization

65 years old, 29 years in the Party, more than 10 years in the role of Party Cell Secretary and Hamlet Chief, Mr. Tien has always been trusted by the people for his enthusiasm and responsibility in work. Imbued with Uncle Ho's teaching: " If you mobilize the people well, everything will be successful ", he not only propagates in meetings but also goes to each household, persistently explaining and mobilizing people to comply well with the Party's policies and guidelines, and the State's policies and laws.

He was close to the people, listened to their thoughts and aspirations to promptly propose and resolve difficulties and obstacles right at the grassroots level. Thanks to his dedication and skillful mobilization, he promoted the strength of national unity, contributing to the completion of political tasks, especially the movement to build new rural areas. Thanks to that, the appearance of the countryside was increasingly renewed, and people's lives were increasingly improved.

“If we want people to trust us, officials must be exemplary, and their words must go hand in hand with their actions. The Party cell must be united, and we must create consensus with the people. All matters must be discussed openly and democratically, and resolved with compassion and reason. When people do not agree, we must try to explain so that they understand. Sometimes it is difficult, but serving the people and seeing my homeland change more and more makes me happy and gives me more motivation to continue to contribute,” Mr. Tien shared.

In 2025, he mobilized people to donate land and contribute more than 200 million VND, along with the State budget to upgrade and expand the Khang Chien road in Xuan Hoa 1 hamlet to a length of 1km and a width of 3.5m. "Previously, the road was only 2m wide and degraded, making it very difficult to travel and transport goods. Thanks to Mr. Tien's mobilization, the people were unanimous, now the road is wide open, everyone is happy and excited" - Mr. Thai Van Le (Xuan Hoa 1 hamlet) said.

Not stopping there, he also mobilized people to contribute about 66 million VND, along with benefactors to upgrade the rural traffic bridge on Cau Tre road in Xuan Hoa 1 hamlet. The bridge is 22m long, 3m wide, has been started and is expected to be completed after 2 months, contributing to improving infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for people to travel and trade goods. In addition, Mr. Tien is also interested in social security work. He coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to mobilize support of 5 million VND for Mr. Do Huu Tan, who is in difficult circumstances, to somewhat stabilize his life.

Secretary of the Thanh Vinh Dong Commune Party Committee, Chau Thanh District - Tran Ngoc Minh said: "Mr. Tien lives simply, always putting the interests of the people first. With the role of "bridge" between the Party, the government and the people, he mobilized and effectively implemented many practical projects, which received the people's approval and response."

With his outstanding contributions, Mr. Tien has been awarded many certificates of merit from the province and district. In 2025, he was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for his outstanding achievements in the movement to build Chau Thanh district to meet advanced new rural standards in 2023./.
