Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen visits Professor, Doctor Dang Luong Mo

On the afternoon of May 8, the delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, visited Professor, Doctor Dang Luong Mo at the Southern National Funeral Home (No. 5 Pham Ngu Lao, Ward 3, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City).

At the funeral, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen and members of the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense in memory of Professor, Doctor Dang Luong Mo, a leading scientist in the field of microchips and former senior advisor to Ho Chi Minh City National University.

In the condolence book, comrade Nguyen Van Nen wrote: “The City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City deeply mourns the passing of Professor, Doctor of Science Dang Luong Mo; honorary professor of Hosei University (Japan); honorary president of the Ho Chi Minh City Semiconductor Technology Association; former senior advisor of Ho Chi Minh City National University. A talented and dedicated scientist, living fully with the ideal of scientific research, training talents for the country; a pioneer in the development of microchip design technology in Vietnam; an erudite and virtuous teacher of many generations. A typical individual in building, protecting and developing Ho Chi Minh City in the period 1945-2025. I respectfully bow my head to say goodbye to Professor, Doctor Dang Luong Mo. May his soul rest in peace. My deepest condolences to his family.”
