Provincial Party Secretary attends the inauguration ceremony of Muong Ang district's Traditional Room

Dien Bien TV - On the morning of April 3, Muong Ang district held the inauguration ceremony of the district's traditional room. Attending the inauguration ceremony was comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The Muong Ang district tradition room is located on the first floor of the district's Conference - Cultural Center, where images, documents, and artifacts about the process of building and developing the district since its establishment are preserved and displayed. Each photo displayed is a vivid story about the contributions of generations of leaders, the political system, and all classes of people in the process of building and developing Muong Ang district.

In particular, the district's traditional room displays for the first time two Hegbo type III bronze drums dating back to the 10th century (about 1,000 years ago) discovered and collected on February 26, 2008 in Ang Nua commune, Muong Ang district, and many valuable images, important documents, and noble titles and awards from the Party and State given to the people and cadres of Muong Ang district.

Visiting the exhibition space of Muong Ang District's Traditional Room, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong praised Muong Ang District for building a space to store extremely valuable historical documents. He suggested that in the coming time, the district continue to coordinate, exploit, and collect additional documents, images, and artifacts to enrich the traditional room, especially those related to the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in the past, contributing to improving the quality of political and ideologicaleducation , traditional education for cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and people in the district.

At the meeting, after listening to the leaders of Muong Ang district reporting on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and ensuring national defense and security in the first quarter, the Provincial Party Secretary commended the results the district had achieved in the past time, and at the same time requested the district to continue to carry out propaganda work well towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; ensure social security, pay attention to the Dien Bien soldiers of the past; focus on, promote the development and promotion of key crops, especially coffee and fruit trees; pay attention to building infrastructure in the central area to become a unique highlight of the district.
