BIDV Vinh Phuc Branch deploys 40,000 billion VND credit package to support young people to own houses

Responding to the Government's policy of supporting young people to access housing, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has launched a credit package to support young people to buy or rent-purchase houses, applicable from March 26 to December 31, 2025, helping the young generation easily realize their dream of settling down.

Accordingly, individual customers up to 35 years old who want to buy/rent a house will be supported with a fixed interest rate of 5.5%/year for the first 3 years. In the following years, customers will pay the interest rate of 24-month term capital mobilization plus 3%/year. The loan term is up to 40 years and there is no requirement to repay the principal within 5 years, applied to a maximum amount of 5 billion VND per individual.

For projects that commit to dedicating at least 30% of total output to young people, investors will be applied a preferential interest rate of 6%/year fixed for up to 24 months by BIDV and the following years will be lower than the normal interest rate by 1-2%/year.

With this loan package, customers can borrow up to 70% of the value of the house they intend to buy and 50% of the value for the loan to hire purchase. In addition, BIDV aims to completely solve the problem of housing supply and demand as well as promote investors to target the young customer segment. The bank considers lending investors up to 75% of the total investment and the loan period is unlimited, in accordance with the project's cash flow.

The credit package is applied to both new loan projects or projects that have been approved by BIDV but not yet disbursed. In addition, BIDV gives priority to disbursement to investors with policies to reduce selling prices for young people.
