Artillery Corps conducts "3 realities" in political education

Attending the conference were: Colonel Bui Ngoc Tuyen, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Artillery Corps; Major General Nguyen Hong Phong, Deputy Party Secretary, Commander of the Corps.

Based on a deep understanding of the position and role of organizing political education at the unit, the Artillery Corps focuses on comprehensively and focusedly innovating the content and program of political education in a fundamental, systematic, unified, practical direction, with inheritance, development, and application close to the unit's reality, suitable for the educational object; ensuring a harmonious structure of knowledge content to improve awareness, political capacity, moral qualities, lifestyle, sense of law observance, and discipline of officers and soldiers.

The compilation of GDCT documents is systematic and consistent throughout the Corps. In 12 years, units under the Artillery Corps have compiled 125 quality-assured self-education topics; proactively edited supplementary topics and electronic lesson plans to serve propaganda and GDCT work at the unit, meeting practical requirements and cognitive needs of soldiers.

The service regularly directs the implementation of training according to the hierarchy to improve the quality of the political teaching staff. In particular, the training content, fostering to improve the level of political teaching and skills in using information technology are of interest to the units. Up to now, 100% of political staff of the entire service can use projection technology in political teaching.

Units regularly take care of building a team of cadres to do political teaching; establish political teaching teams for subjects according to regulations; at the same time, do a good job of managing, evaluating, and classifying the quality of cadres to determine the content and form of training and fostering. The team of political teachers at the grassroots level basically meets the requirements of the task, more than 80% are good and excellent.

Through the implementation of Directive No. 124 and the Project, there has been a strong change in political education work, enhancing the political capacity and determination of soldiers, contributing to building a politically strong army.
